Business travel is totally differing from the vacation travel. During the family trip, we don’t need to give importance for perfection, dressing and food, but in the business travel these things plays major role.

Don’t forget to take business card, important files and identity proof if asked by the organizer. Make sure that you have the information of the concern person who is going to pickup from the destination point. Talk with that person at least before one day of travel, and discuss about the information like arrival time, distance between the airport/railway station and hotel or wherever you have planned to stay.

Try and alter your food patterns according to the timing of the place you are going to be in to overcome Jetlag. Don’t try any new cuisines that you haven’t tried before as there is a chance to suffer from digestion. It is better to have normal food in a good restaurant. Avoid unnecessary party; go to bed in a correct time that gives you fresh mind in the morning. If you sleep in late night that will give you headache and restless feel, finally you can’t concentrate on meeting/conference.

Make sure that you reach the meeting hall or conference place before ten to fifteen minutes of meeting. Concentrate more on your dressing, present yourself as a perfect professional with coat and tie, and give a perfect speech don’t use your humor and naughtiness there.

Be confident; don’t be over confident and practice well for speech in front of a mirror that will help you in gaining confidence. Even if you like or not, concentrate on others speech and note down the importance points. Raise questions after the speech, and participate in debate actively.

Keep in mind that you are representing your business and every action should represent your work, avoid unnecessary expenses that helps to get more opportunities.

After completing your business work, spend one or two days to travel around the place, collect information about nice places around that area then visit those places and get full satisfaction before returning.
